Early mornings are my quiet time before the bustle of the day begins. Most sunrises are quiet by nature spreading soft color across the sky as the sun welcomes a new day. There is something very magical in watching the sunrise alone in the crisp chill of an early January morning. “Calm Silences” was inspired by such a morning – the only sound breaking the quiet were the song of birds greeting the day.
